Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

WHEEEEEW! It’s amazing how quickly Christmas comes and goes! One of our preChristmas traditions is that we open 1 or two presents a day, starting about 5 days before Christmas. On Christmas morning we watch mom and dad open their presents and then look at what Santa Claus had brought us. I won’t go through every present that we got this year but I will mention one… my precious! The girls had opened both of their presents and I had opened one of mine, and was on the verge of opening the last when… Briiiiinnnnggg….BRIIIIIINNNNNGGGG… ?? * “Somebody answer that phone please…*Confused* Dangit! Where is the stupid phone! … wait… *holds present up to ear* ahhhhhhh!”

Yesterday was a blast and this morning we woke up to my dad telling us “If your going to put up that JCL poster in the front yard again you need to do it soon or chunk it cause it’s starting to look like this…

It’s Friday!

I don’t usually go to walmart 4 days before Christmas but for some strange reason… I did. Yesterday, I hung out with my friend Daniel and one of the “to-do’s” on our list was to go Christmas shopping at walmart. So, we walked in walmart and to our not so surprised eyes we saw lines stretching for miles on end. ;^) Anyway, while we were shopping for his dad we were back in the hunting section. This is what we found…

Tackling the wild outdoors…

…in the back yard. For the past several weeks my mom has been working like crazy to get together a “Pioneer Day” for our co-op! Finally, it payed off. Yesterday, our co-op(at least our younger kids) had a lot of fun dressing up and pretending to be pioneers!

…younger kids at heart that is. *cough* The guys were the pony express riders/gunmen/outlaws/Indians/anything else they could think of…
